Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and API/Microservices testing. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks, executing automated test scripts, validating backend services, and ensuring the quality and reliability of applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM), Hybrid, Data-Driven, and BDD/Cucumber approaches.Perform API and microservices testing using REST Assured, Postman, and REST APIs.Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.Use Git for version control and test code management.Perform database validation using SQL and verify backend data.Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with development and other testing teams.Ensure test coverage, maintain test documentation, and support continuous quality improvement.Mandatory SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.Good knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, and Collections.Experience in automation framework development.Strong experience in API and microservices testing.Hands-on experience with REST Assured and Postman.Experience with Jenkins or Azure DevOps and Git.Knowledge of SQL, backend validation, and integration testing.Valid security clearance is mandatory.Technical Skill MatrixSelenium WebDriver with Java (Core Java, OOPs, Collections)Automation Framework Development (POM, Hybrid, Data-Driven, BDD/Cucumber)API & Microservices Testing (REST Assured, Postman, REST APIs)CI/CD & Version Control (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git)Database & Backend Validation (SQL, Data Verification, Integration Testing)
