The company operates over 4000 sites across the UK and Ireland providing specialist services to a wide range of blue-chip clients.The role We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced QA Automation Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.Main Responsibilities Duties will include:Work as an embedded member of the Scrum team, focused on quality and automated testingHands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests for back end services.Web based UI and mobile apps using appropriate tools such as Selenium and Browserstack.APIsStrong understanding of testing concepts/methodologies and processes such as Gopher/BDDWork closely with developers, PO, BAs and wider team to define and develop best possible test solutionsEnsure defects are raised as per defect management process using JiraDevelop and maintain automated functional and regression testsEssential Skills Required:Experience using C# and Specflow/ReqNRoll to build automated test suitesExperience with POMStrong experience in test automation using C# and Selenium WebDriver3+ years’ experience writing automated testsExperience with building out test frameworks from scratchExperience with Azure (APIM, Azure Functions, API Services), React/React-Native and .NET CoreExperience working in CI\CD pipeline environmentA good understanding of test-driven design principles and writing clean test codeDesirable skills include:Proficiency in at least one major API testing frameworkStrong understanding of software product development lifecycle, Agile Delivery Methodologies, Scrum/Kanban and test processes.Strong sense of ownership and responsibilityExperience with API testing (REST, Postman)Azure DevOpsAble to embody and evangelise the principles and practice of QAYAML, TerraformSQL knowledge for test data validationPragmatic approach to balancing automation vs manual testingJira and ConfluenceInterested?If you feel you have the skills and qualities to undertake this role, please click apply.We are an equal opportunities employer.
