Quality Assurance Engineer

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to validate features, report issues, and ensure our apps and services meet the highest quality standards.You'll contribute to our QA activities across manual and automated testing, participate in Agile ceremonies, and help improve how we test and deliver features. Responsibilities

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to test features and report issues clearly and efficientlyExecute manual test cases and support the development of automated tests across mobile and backend platformsValidate features during sprints and contribute to regression and exploratory testing cyclesDocument bugs and test results in Jira with clarity and contextParticipate in sprint planning and backlog grooming to provide a QA perspectiveSupport QA team initiatives to improve test coverage and reduce bug leakageUse tools like Firebase, Datadog, and Postman to validate backend behavior, error rates, and app stabilityFollow and contribute to QA processes across the product lifecycleRequirements1 - 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar roleFamiliarity with Agile software development and testing practicesExperience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android) and backend APIsAbility to write clear and concise bug reports and test documentationBasic understanding of test automation tools and CI/CD pipelinesStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-first mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentFluency in Arabic and good command of EnglishNice-to-Have Skills:Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Postman, Cypress)AI-Assisted Testing: Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to support test case generation, exploratory testing, test data creation, and bug analysisInterest in AI-driven QA, automation, and emerging tools that improve testing efficiency and software qualityKnowledge of QA metrics and reporting toolsFamiliarity with tools like Jira, GitHub, TestRail, or similarBenefitsWhy Join Gathern?Be part of a collaborative and innovative team driving quality excellenceWork on cutting-edge products with real-world impactEnjoy opportunities for professional growth and career advancement
