Quality Assurance Engineer / Manager

• Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 quality standards
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations preferably Stamping, Plating and Powder Metal
• The ability to interact in Staff Level, Customer meetings and shop floor situations
• Organize and direct the tasks of 1-2 quality techniciansQualifications / Skills / Experience:
• Engineering or Technical Degree
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings including GD&T dimensioning
• Knowledge/experience with CMM and Optical measuring systems (Micro Vu Vertex)
• Software proficiency with InSpec, Prolink (QC Calc), Gagetrak, Mini Tab or SPC for Excel
• Ability to write Procedures / Work Instructions and design QMS Forms and Visual AidsDuties / Responsibilities:
• Originate and assist in the submittal of PPAPs
• Internal and external audits (i.e. suppliers, visits, standards audits)
• Establish SOP’s for incoming inspection and data collection methods
• Assist with new products drawing reviews / Control Plans
• Integration of new product inspection devices, gaging and associated data collection
• Backup in-process / final inspection of parts and disposition of non-conforming partsAFT Offers:
