Quality Assurance Lead

QA Lead (Manual & Automation Testing)We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to join one of our medical software projects and take ownership of the testing strategy, quality standards, and automation initiatives across the product. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines team coordination, close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure requirements are properly understood and covered, and active involvement in both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on automation using Python and Playwright.ResponsibilitiesLead and support the QA team, ensuring testing activities are properly planned, executed, and tracked.Drive and promote testing best practices across the project.Contribute to the definition and maintenance of the testing strategy/plan and quality assurance processes.Analyze business and technical requirements, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and proactively seek clarifications when needed.Create comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on requirements, ensuring complete and effective test coverage.Ensure requirements are fully traceable through test cases and testing activities.Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Python and Playwright.Act as the primary liaison between our team and the client, facilitating effective communication and alignment.Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and testable.Prioritize QA activities and coordinate testing efforts according to project timelines and business priorities.Provide effort estimations for testing tasks and contribute to planning activities.Work effectively within iterative development environments and Agile delivery models.Create and maintain QA documentation, test plans, test reports, and other project-related documentation.Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and improve product quality.Leverage 6+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing, to drive quality across the project.Nice to HaveExperience working on healthcare or medical software projects.Knowledge of Formal Verification concepts.Understanding of Traceability Metrics and requirements traceability practices.Experience creating and maintaining QA, planning, and project documentation.Experience working in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.
