Quality Assurance Manager

Role Description This part-time, hybrid Quality Assurance Manager role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems, ensuring compliance with internal standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing quality audits, reviewing processes and documentation, identifying nonconformities, and driving corrective and preventive actions. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish quality benchmarks, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing training and guidance on quality best practices. The Quality Assurance Manager will prepare regular reports for leadership, recommend improvements, and support initiatives that strengthen consistency, reliability, and safety across operations.QualificationsExperience in quality management, including development, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance frameworks and procedures.Strong skills in process analysis, root cause identification, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., ISO standards, Lean, Six Sigma).Proficiency in documentation control, audit planning, and reporting, with the ability to maintain accurate records and quality-related metrics.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across operations, engineering, and leadership teams.Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related discipline; professional certifications in quality (such as CQE, CQA, or equivalent) are an advantage.Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and use digital tools for remote coordination and documentation.Experience in mining, heavy industry, or similar operational environments is highly beneficial, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.Demonstrated commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive practices and adherence to ethical standards in all aspects of quality management.
