QA/QC Engineer – ELV & Security SystemsLocation: UAEEmployment Type: Full-timeDepartment: Projects & ServicesIndustry: ELV / Security Systems / ICTAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our Projects & Services team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes across ELV and security system projects, ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, project requirements, authority regulations and company quality standards.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CCTV, Access Control, ANPR, Intercom, Structured Cabling, AV and other ELV systems, with strong knowledge of inspection, testing, documentation and project quality procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements and QA/QC procedures.Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of installation, workmanship and materials.Inspect incoming materials and equipment to ensure they comply with approved submittals and project specifications.Coordinate and conduct inspections with consultants, clients, contractors and relevant authorities.Prepare and manage Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Test Reports and Quality Checklists.Ensure all ELV installations are carried out as per approved drawings, manufacturer recommendations and applicable standards.Monitor installation activities for systems including CCTV, Access Control, ANPR, Intercom, AV, Structured Cabling, Networking and related ELV systems.Witness and document testing, commissioning and integrated system testing.Identify non-conformities and coordinate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).Prepare and maintain NCRs, observation reports, snag lists and quality inspection records.Monitor closure of quality issues and ensure corrective actions are completed within agreed timelines.Review and maintain project quality documentation and ensure proper traceability of records.Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Installation Teams and Subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.Ensure that materials installed at site are approved and comply with project specifications.Support project handover by ensuring that all testing, commissioning, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties and quality documentation are complete.Participate in internal and external quality audits.Ensure compliance with applicable UAE authority requirements, international standards, project specifications and client requirements.Provide regular quality reports and highlight quality risks to the Project Manager.Promote a strong quality culture across project and site teams.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of QA/QC experience, preferably within ELV, security systems, MEP, ICT or low-current projects.Hands-on experience with CCTV and ELV systems is highly preferred.Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspection processes and project documentation.Experience preparing and reviewing ITP, MIR, IR, Method Statements, Checklists, NCR and QA/QC reports.Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.Experience working with consultants, clients and main contractors.Good understanding of technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.Knowledge of relevant international standards and UAE requirements.Strong MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Excellent communication, coordination and documentation skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple project requirements. Preferred CertificationsCandidates with any of the following certifications will have an advantage:ISO 9001 – Quality Management SystemsNEBOSH / IOSHPMP / PRINCE2Relevant ELV / CCTV / Security System certificationsVendor certifications from major security system manufacturers Key SkillsQA/QC | ELV | CCTV | Access Control | ANPR | Intercom | Structured Cabling | AV | Inspection & Testing | ITP | MIR | IR | NCR | CAPA | Method Statements | Testing & Commissioning | Project Documentation | ISO 9001 | Quality AuditsWhat We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to identify quality issues before they become project problems.The candidate should be comfortable working on construction/project sites, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and maintaining high standards of documentation and workmanship.UAE experience in ELV/security system projects will be an added advantage.ApplyIf you are an experienced QA/QC Engineer with ELV and security systems experience and are looking for an opportunity to work on challenging projects in the UAE, we would like to hear from you.Please submit your CV along with relevant project experience and certifications.
