Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

This position is accountable for the implementation and maintenance of Region, Area or a Large Project Quality Management system including; QC Plan, laboratory accreditation, QC/QA project management and supporting technical staff. This position requires consistent exercise of discretion and judgment in analyzing and interpreting information before making reasoned recommendations.Evaluate Technician and Inspector performance. Manage vendor performance including services provided by third-party engineering firms.Manage QC/QA projects by analyzing project data and communicating recommended courses of action. Advice projects by interpreting internal and owner/agency requirements and preparing quality control plansImplementation and monitoring of the following: overall responsibility of the installation; overall workmanship in line with associated spec and codes; control of all documents; confirm all relevant check sheets etc. are signed and maintained;Supervise Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP. Participate in and promote company’s safety procedures to promote a safe working environment including compliance with OSHA and MSHA rules and regulations.Control inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test planManage communication with the consultant’s representative and Site in-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance ReportOversee method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.BE/B.Tech/n Electrical/ Civil Engineering with 08 years experience in Transmission Line / OHTL construction industry experience
