QC/QA Officer – Aluminum & Glass Factory 1. Quality Control & InspectionInspect aluminum profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, and finished products.Check materials against approved specifications, drawings, samples, and project requirements.Perform inspections during fabrication, assembly, and finishing stages.Verify dimensions, tolerances, alignment, color, surface finish, and workmanship.2. Production QualityMonitor production activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and procedures.Inspect cutting, machining, drilling, assembly, glazing, silicone application, and installation preparation.Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions with the production team.3. Glass QualityCheck glass type, thickness, dimensions, coating, color, and edge finishing.Verify tempered, laminated, double-glazed, and other specified glass requirements.Check glass for scratches, cracks, chips, visual defects, and manufacturing defects.4. Aluminum QualityVerify aluminum alloy/profile type, dimensions, color, coating/anodizing, and surface condition.Check fabrication against approved shop drawings.Inspect corner joints, cleats, screws, gaskets, EPDM, sealants, and hardware.5. DocumentationPrepare Inspection & Test Reports (ITR).Prepare/check Material Inspection Reports (MIR).Record inspection results and maintain QC records.Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when required.Maintain inspection checklists and quality documentation.6. Drawings & SpecificationsReview approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals.Ensure production follows the latest approved drawings and revisions.7. Non-Conformance & Corrective ActionIdentify and document non-conforming products.Investigate the cause of defects.Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Verify that corrective actions have been properly implemented.8. Testing & StandardsCoordinate required testing of aluminum and glass products.Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.Maintain records of test certificates and material certificates.9. Supplier & Material InspectionInspect incoming materials from suppliers.Verify material certificates, certificates of conformity, and delivery documents.Report damaged or incorrect materials.
