Quality Assurance, Specialist

Master Works is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist experienced in software testing and defect management. The role involves executing manual and automated tests, identifying and tracking defects, and working with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop test plans, test cases, and comprehensive testing strategies for software applicationsPrepare, configure, and maintain testing environments to ensure readiness for all test cyclesExecute manual and automated tests and accurately document all test resultsIdentify, log, and track defects discovered during testing phasesCollaborate closely with developers to ensure effective defect resolution and re-testingLead and perform comprehensive test coverage activities to maximize efficiency and qualityValidate applied fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure no new defects are introduced and that existing functionalities remain stableReview business and technical requirements to ensure completeness, testability, and alignment with quality standardsMonitor software quality metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvementSupport release activities by performing final quality verification and sign-off proceduresMentor junior QA team members and promote quality assurance best practices across projectsParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesEnsure compliance with organizational quality standards, policies, and software development methodologiesRequirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and TestingStrong experience in manual and automated testing methodologiesHands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail)Experience with test automation frameworks and toolsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsKnowledge of Agile/Scrum software development practicesPreferred CertificationsISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level or Advanced Level)Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) or equivalent certificationsJob location: Client Site.
