Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Description The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and testing processes and deliverables to ensure they meet defined quality standards and regulatory requirements. Working closely with consulting, technology, and operations teams, the role includes developing and maintaining quality control plans, performing root cause analysis on defects or process issues, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The Quality Control Engineer will document findings, prepare quality reports and dashboards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across projects and internal workflows. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to refine quality metrics, supporting audits, and promoting quality awareness throughout the organization. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain Quality Plans in line with customer, product, and applicable quality requirements.Coordinate with Third-Party Inspection Agencies and ensure inspections are completed as per requirements.Monitor product and process quality in accordance with drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.Conduct inspections and review/validate inspection and testing activities, including NDE requirements.Manage identification and traceability of valves and components throughout the production and delivery process.Evaluate supplier quality and provide feedback based on inspection and first-piece approval.Conduct audits of outsourced special processes and ensure their compliance with quality requirements.Handle non-conformities, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions, in coordination with relevant departments.Maintain quality documentation and records and ensure timely closure of quality-related issues.Support validation and verification of new products and special processes.Coordinate with Design, PPC, and other departments to resolve quality issues before delivery.Ensure customer requirements are effectively communicated and fulfilled throughout product realization.Contribute to quality objectives, risk assessments, contingency planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.Have the authority to accept or reject materials/products based on defined quality requirements.Key AccountabilityProduct and process qualitySupplier and outsourced process qualityPrevention and resolution of non-conformitiesMinimizing field failures related to manufacturing or component quality.
