Apply & track with Apply Edge🔹 We’re Hiring | Quality Control Engineer 🔹💼 Job Title: Quality Control Engineer📍 Location: Riyadh- Site🕘 Job Type: Full-time.🏢 Industry: Construction company⏳ Experience: 4–10 YearsJob OverviewWe are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to join our project team.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable standards, codes, and quality requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor Quality Control procedures for construction activities on site.Inspect works and materials to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs/WIRs) and coordinate inspections with consultants.Review Method Statements, Material Submittals, Shop Drawings, and technical documents.Identify non-conformities, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions.Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, inspection reports, checklists, and documentation.Coordinate with construction, engineering, and project teams to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials throughout the construction process.Ensure compliance with the project QA/QC Plan, applicable codes, specifications, and safety requirements.Participate in inspections, testing, and quality-related meetings as required.Follow up on corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure of quality issues.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Quality Control Engineer in construction projects.Strong knowledge of quality standards, specifications, inspection procedures, and construction practices.Experience working with Consultants, Contractors, and Third-Party Inspectors.Good knowledge of QA/QC documentation, including IRs, WIRs, NCRs, ITPs, Method Statements, and Checklists.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.Site-based construction experience is mandatory.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on major construction and general contracting projects.Professional and collaborative working environment.Opportunities for career development and leadership growth.Exposure to challenging and high-profile construction projects.Candidates who are available to join immediately will be given priority.
