Quality Control - Snagging InspectorMetropolitan Properties – DubaiMetropolitan Properties is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control -Snagging Inspector to join our Property Management team in Dubai. The role will be responsible for inspecting completed and ongoing works, identifying defects and quality issues, and ensuring that properties are maintained and handed over to the required standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed inspections of completed and ongoing construction, fit-out, maintenance and refurbishment works.Carry out comprehensive snagging inspections of apartments, villas and other managed properties.Identify and document snags, defects, incomplete works, poor workmanship and health & safety concerns.Inspect architectural, civil, MEP, finishing, fixtures, fittings and installation works as applicable.Prepare detailed snagging and inspection reports, including photographs, locations, descriptions and required corrective actions.Monitor contractors' progress and ensure identified defects are rectified within agreed timelines.Conduct follow-up inspections to verify that corrective works have been completed to the required standard.Coordinate with contractors, maintenance teams, building management and Property Management teams regarding outstanding works.Conduct move-in, move-out, handover and pre-handover inspections where required.Assess the overall condition of properties and identify maintenance or remedial works required.Maintain accurate records of inspections, defects, completed works and outstanding items.Escalate recurring quality issues, delays or significant defects to the Property Management Director.Ensure all works comply with agreed specifications, quality standards and company requirements.Assist with contractor performance monitoring and provide feedback on workmanship and quality.Support the Property Management team with technical inspections and property-related quality control requirements.RequirementsPrevious experience as a Snagging Inspector, Quality Control Inspector, Site Inspector, Property Inspector or similar role.Strong understanding of construction, finishing and property maintenance standards.Good knowledge of MEP, civil, architectural and finishing works.Experience identifying construction defects and assessing workmanship quality.Ability to produce clear and detailed inspection reports with photographic evidence.Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspections.Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, maintenance teams and property management.Strong organizational and follow-up skills.UAE/Dubai property or construction experience is highly preferred.A valid UAE driving license is required and your own vehicleWhat We OfferOpportunity to join Metropolitan Properties, one of Dubai's leading real estate organisations.A professional and growing Property Management division.Career development and opportunities for progression.Supportive and collaborative working environment.Opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of Dubai properties.
