Team members join an environment that values collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.Job Specific Responsibilities· Perform inspection as per established ITP and conform work carried complies with applicable codes, standard and specifications· Report inspection findings to all concerned personnel through relevant Mariner Module and raise punch list as applicable· Coordinate and liaise with classification society, third party inspection agencies, client and other trades, to ensure adherence to related standards· Perform in-process inspections as per established in-process inspection program· Participation in work identification as required· Generate inspection reports timely and accurately in accordance with QC reporting rules.· Propose NCR for identified non-conformances, based on the finding of inspections.· Report QC supervisor and Engineer for daily quality issues· Maintain house- keeping on the job location.QualificationsCandidates must possess a Degree or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline, with a background in Mechanical, Naval Architecture, or Marine Engineering preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is essential, with hands-on background in ship repair, new building, or the oil and gas sector considered a strong advantage. Mandatory certifications include qualification as a CSWIP 3.1 Inspector or an AWS CWI. Additionally, credentials such as ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor and ASNT Level II in NDT are highly desirable.Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control, Inspection, and Quality Assurance, specifically related to structural and piping works.Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management, including implementing procedures, documenting non-conformities, and supporting corrective and preventive actions.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear reporting, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and engagement with clients and contractors.Relevant technical qualifications in Mechanical, Structural, or Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent discipline are desirable.Experience in Marine, Oil & Gas, or Subsea projects, and familiarity with international standards and codes (e.g., ASME, AWS, API) are beneficial.Proficiency in using inspection tools, measurement instruments, and digital reporting systems is an advantage.Ability to work safely in field environments, with a strong focus on HSE practices and regulatory compliance.
