Quality Control Manager

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain factory QC plans, inspection points, checklists and acceptance controls aligned with approved drawings, specifications and customer requirements. Oversee quality control of structural steel fabrication, dimensional and fitting inspection, welding, NDT, surface preparation, coating and final product inspection. Control, document and manage non-conforming materials and products through approved NCR processes, including corrective and preventive actions. Plan and coordinate customer, consultant and third-party inspections, including applicable witness and hold points. Manage, allocate work to, supervise and evaluate the performance of factory QC personnel. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Materials Engineering, Production Engineering or a related discipline. 10–12 years of progressive QC experience in structural steel, pre-engineered buildings, heavy fabrication or similar manufacturing environments, including team leadership. Experience managing multi-discipline QC activities covering incoming materials, fitting, welding, NDT, surface preparation, painting and customer/third-party inspections. Strong communication skills in English.
