قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجQC Analyst (Microbiology Laboratory)Location: Liverpool, UKContract Length: 3 MonthsStart Date: ASAPAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking a detail-oriented QC Analyst to join a fast-paced Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory supporting a leading manufacturer within the food, nutrition, and FMCG sector.This role is ideal for a science graduate or experienced laboratory professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a highly regulated environment where quality, food safety, and continuous improvement are at the heart of operations.As part of the Quality team, you will play a vital role in ensuring testing activities are completed accurately, safely, and in compliance with GMP, GLP, and laboratory procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine microbiological testing in accordance with approved SOPs, GMP, and GLP requirements.Support daily laboratory operations and ensure testing schedules are met.Maintain key performance indicators, including:Right First Time (RFT)On Time In Full (OTIF)Complete training and competency assessments for routine analysis methods.Review and verify laboratory data to ensure accurate reporting.Support investigations, including Out of Specification (OOS) processes where required.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and laboratory process enhancement projects.Assist with the validation and introduction of new methods and laboratory equipment.Maintain laboratory housekeeping standards and support rota requirements.Manage assigned equipment and testing methods.Order and receive laboratory consumables.Update SOPs and related documentation when required.Implement assigned corrective and preventive actions.Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety standards.About YouEssential Qualifications & ExperienceBSc degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.Previous experience within a Pharmaceutical, Food Manufacturing, FMCG, or Quality Control laboratory environment.Strong understanding of laboratory compliance, GMP, GLP, and quality systems.Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Desired SkillsExperience handling food ingredients and dry powder products.Analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of quality management systems and risk management principles.Familiarity with laboratory investigations and troubleshooting.Presentation and reporting skills.Continuous improvement mindset.The successful candidate will be:Highly organised and quality-focused.Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment.A collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills.Open to learning, feedback, and personal development.Motivated to contribute to quality excellence and operational improvements.If this is something you'd be interested in please get in touch - jamie.keith@cpl.com
