QC Senior Analyst – Microbiology-ShiftLocation: Dundalk, Co. Louth, IrelandDepartment: Quality ControlWorking Pattern: Potential 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shift cycleRole OverviewWe are seeking a QC Senior Analyst – Microbiology to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing QC team. The role involves microbiological testing, investigations, laboratory compliance and supporting audit readiness in a cGMP environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine QC Microbiology testing, sampling and laboratory activities.Conduct Environmental Monitoring (EM), Water Monitoring, Endotoxin and Bioburden Testing.Act as a Microbiology SME and support troubleshooting and OOS investigations.Participate in QC daily meetings and escalate compliance or testing issues.Review laboratory documentation and ensure data integrity and Right First Time standards.Support SOPs, training, laboratory readiness and audit activities.Support equipment qualification and microbiological method transfer, verification and validation.Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.RequirementsDegree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Science or related field.3+ years of QC Microbiology experience in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing.Hands-on experience with EM, Water Monitoring, Endotoxin and Bioburden Testing.Good knowledge of cGMP, GLP, QMS and data integrity.Experience with OOS/deviation investigations is desirable.Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexible regarding potential shift work.Ideal candidate: Hands-on QC Microbiology professional with strong pharmaceutical/biotech laboratory experience and solid GMP compliance knowledge.
