Team members collaborate with diverse clients and projects, contributing to durable, high-performance solutions for construction and industrial applications.Role DescriptionMatex is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Control Officer to join our growing team.Working closely with Production and Technical teams, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet the company's quality standards through laboratory testing, inspections, documentation, and continuous process improvement. This role is ideal for a Chemical Engineering graduate with a passion for quality, manufacturing, and delivering high-performance products.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct quality inspections and laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.Record, analyze, and report quality control results.Investigate non-conforming products and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Maintain laboratory equipment, testing records, and quality documentation.Assist in developing and maintaining quality procedures, work instructions, and SOPs.Work closely with Production, Technical, and Warehouse teams to maintain product quality and consistency.Support continuous improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes.Ensure compliance with company quality standards and relevant industry regulations.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.2–5 years of experience in quality control, laboratory testing, or manufacturing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience preparing technical reports and maintaining accurate documentation.Good communication and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Preferred SkillsExperience within the construction chemicals, manufacturing, or related industries.Knowledge of laboratory testing methods and quality management systems.Familiarity with ISO quality standards and quality documentation.Understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.What We OfferOpportunity to join a growing and innovative manufacturing company.Exposure to advanced construction chemical products and manufacturing processes.Professional development and career growth opportunities.A collaborative and supportive working environment.
