Quality Control Specialist

Job Position : Quality Control SpecialistDepartment : Operations (Quality)General Description of the RoleThe Quality Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing product quality at every stage of the operations process — from the inspection of materials and components received from suppliers, through in-process inspection, to the assessment of finished products before shipment to the customer.Purpose of the RoleTo ensure that products meet the company's quality requirements, industry standards, and customer expectations, as well as to minimize the number of defects, complaints, and costs associated with non-conformities.Main Duties / ResponsibilitiesPerforming quality inspection of materials and components received from suppliers in accordance with specifications and standards.Conducting in-process inspection at individual production stages in order to detect non-conformities early.Final inspection of finished products before packaging and shipment — assessing dimensions, surface quality, lacquering, functionality of fittings, and correctness of assembly.Verifying product compliance with technical documentation, design drawings, and customer requirements.Identifying, documenting, and marking non-conforming products and overseeing their further processing (quarantine, rework, scrap).Participating in root cause analysis of non-conformities and in developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Participating in handling customer complaints — analyzing reports, assessing their validity, and preparing a technical response.EducationBachelor's Degree / BE in mechanics, materials engineering, wood technology, machine design, or related).ExperienceApprox. 2–4 years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the furniture, wood work, or metal industry.Knowledge and SkillsAbility to read technical drawings and design documentation.
