Apply & track with Apply EdgeJOB PURPOSE:Carry out sampling and laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished feed to verify conformity with approved specifications, providing accurate and timely results that support material acceptance, product release, and formulation decisions.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESSampling & InspectionApply sampling plans for incoming raw materials (including bulk and vessel receipts), in-process materials, and finished products.Coordinate sampling activities with QC Samplers.Verify sample identification, retention, and chain of custody.Laboratory TestingPerform chemical and physical analyses, including moisture, protein, fat, fiber, ash, pellet durability, and particle size.Conduct NIR analysis and mycotoxin screening in line with approved methods.Record results accurately in the laboratory system/ERP.Results & Product ReleaseCompare results against specifications and recommend acceptance, hold, or rejection of materials and products.Issue certificates of analysis and share results with Production, Nutrition, and Procurement.Escalate out-of-specification results to the Quality Control Senior Specialist.Laboratory Equipment & PracticeOperate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, and manage reagents and consumables.Support method verification and participate in inter-laboratory proficiency testing.Maintain good laboratory practice, safety, and housekeeping standards.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Animal Production, or a related field.2–4 years of laboratory quality control experience in feed, food, or grain operations.
