Quality Control Supervisor Procurement MEP

Job Summary : The Procurement Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of all purchased materials and products within the procurement process. This role involves implementing and maintaining quality control measures, conducting inspections, and collaborating with vendors to uphold high standards. The individual will work closely with the procurement team to establish and enforce quality control procedures, assess supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement in the procurement processKey ResponsibilitiesSupervision of Vendor Inspection Activities:Directly supervise and oversee vendor inspection activities in accordance with the contract scope of work.Ensure that inspections align with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.Quality Control Management:Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for vendor inspections.Monitor and evaluate the quality of materials, products, and services provided by vendors.Vendor Compliance:Ensure vendors adhere to applicable industry standards, regulations, and contractual obligations.Address non-compliance issues promptly and work with vendors to implement corrective actions.Project Scope Understanding:Have a comprehensive understanding of the project scope of work, including building construction projects, utilities, and infrastructure.SkillsShall have a relevant university degree or equivalent and (8) years inspection experience or a collegediploma with (10) years inspection experience with a minimum of (3) years directly relating to supervision of vendor inspection activities in the Contract Scope of work (e.g. building construction projects, utilities, and infrastructure)."
