Quality Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on QA Engineer to own the quality assurance of our complex data systems. In this role, you will bridge the gap between robust manual exploratory testing and advanced automation techniques.If you have a passion for data integrity, a knack for breaking complex backend systems, and leadership aspirations, you’ll fit right in.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Testing: Design and execute meticulous manual and automated test strategies for complex data pipelines, databases, and backend systems.Advanced Automation: Build, maintain, and scale robust automation frameworks (e.g., Python, Java, or TypeScript) tailored for data validation and system integration.Team Leadership (Growth Opportunity): Mentor junior team members and manage a small QA team, driving QA best practices across the lifecycle.Collaboration: Partner closely with Data Engineers and Product Managers to identify edge cases and ensure seamless data flow.What We’re Looking ForExperience: 4+ years in QA engineering, with a proven track record in testing complex data systems, ETL pipelines, or large-scale backend architectures.Automation Mastery: Strong hands-on experience with advanced automation frameworks and API testing (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, Postman).Data Savvy: Proficient in SQL and comfortable validating data integrity across relational or non-relational databases.Languages: Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken)Leadership (Big Plus): Prior experience managing or leading a small QA team or a strong desire to step into a leadership role.
