Reporting to the Regional QESH Manager, this role will play a key part in developing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving the QESH management system across the operation.This is a great opportunity to make a real impact by championing health, safety, quality and environmental standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You’ll work closely with site leadership, operational teams, contractors and employees to promote a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance and support continuous improvement.What's in it for you?Be part of an international and rapidly growing organisationWork in a varied office and warehouse environment supporting a leading Technology customerContribute directly to Health & Safety compliance, ISO standards and continuous improvementInfluence a positive safety culture through coaching, engagement and visible leadershipAccess to GXO University and a wide range of learning and career development opportunitiesHow you'll make an impactMaintain and continuously improve the QESH management system, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies and applicable standardsCoordinate audits, inspections, corrective actions and compliance assessments across warehouse operations, equipment, processes and contractorsConduct risk assessments, support incident and near-miss investigations, and help identify robust corrective and preventive actionsMonitor QESH performance data, trends and compliance metrics, providing practical recommendations to management and operational teamsDeliver QESH briefings, toolbox talks, training sessions and awareness campaigns to employees, contractors, agency workers and visitorsSupport internal and external audits, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, customer audits and corporate compliance reviews where applicableChampion sustainability initiatives by supporting activities that reduce waste, energy consumption, water usage, carbon emissions and environmental impactSupport emergency preparedness, business continuity planning, first aid arrangements and incident response processesWhat You'll Bring To GXOA bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, preferably a technical field, combined with strong analytical skillsDemonstrated knowledge of QESH management systems, ISO standards or other site-specific standards, supported by relevant certifications or trainingBroad experience in Health, Safety and Environmental managementMinimum of 5 years’ professional experience within a complex, multi-dimensional organisationExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsStrong proficiency in both Dutch and EnglishA self-driven, resilient and proactive approach, with high standards of quality, integrity and professional judgementStrong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence engagement and changeYour work environment:Working at GXO Logistics means working in a dynamic and international organization.
