Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Manager

We are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager to join Advanced Biocatalytics Industries (ABCI), one of Abunayyan Holding’s subsidiaries.About ABCI:Advanced Biocatalytics Industries (ABCI) is a pioneering chemical manufacturing company located in Dammam’s 2nd Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. About the Role

The QHSE Manager will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Management Systems, while ensuring a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.Key responsibilities:1- Health and SafetyDevelop, update, issue, and maintain the HSE program.Ensure the safety program is updated, communicated, and implemented.Ensure employees have proper safety training & are aware of hazards in their work environment.Conduct HSE awareness for all employees.Ensure inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Inform workers of potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.Lead accident investigations and follow up on the related corrective action with the relevant party.Write reports detailing accident investigations and conclusions to implement future safety measures and prevent recurrence.Consult with management to develop policies and procedures for safety programs.Prepare reports about safety conditions at a workplace.Monitor compliance with safety regulations & provide training on safe work practices to employees.Record injuries or illnesses that occur at work in order to identify potential hazards or patterns of unsafe behaviour.Ensure all safety contracts are updated & all safety systems are maintained.Report monthly HSE performance to the management.Prepare the company for necessary certifications to be obtained/applied whenever the management approves.2- Quality Systems & AuditsDevelop Quality Manuals for Integrated Management System.Get the company registered for Integrated Management System as applicable (ISO 9001 – ISO 14001 – ISO 45001/ Quality, Environmental and Health Safety Management Systems) and ensure renewal of certificate.Act as a guide for external ISO auditors during their audits.Develop, establish, and implement the quality management systems in coordination with the management and all other departments in order to ensure continual improvementsRenew, update, and circulate revisions to the Quality Assurance Manuals / Procedures as they occur through the issuance of controlled documents in order to ensure that only the latest documents are in use.Conduct Internal Quality (QMS) AuditsRaise NCRs in case of non-compliance and ensure their close outs.Prepare internal audit reports in order to ensure compliance with requirements.Ensure the generation of Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) with the technical department.Conduct Environmental Audit for ISO 14001: 2015 in order to comply with Environmental Management System requirements.3- Operational ExcellenceDevelop departmental work processes and maintain its implementation as smooth as possible:Recommend and initiate continuous process improvements.Coordinate with IT (SAP) for automating recommended work process in SAP.Develop Balance Score Card and coordinate to set all company objectives and initiatives.Maintain company’s updated Balanced Scorecard with updated Milestones in SAPEnsure the cost of poor-quality calculation (COPQ)4- Customer FocusEnsure all complaints from clients are resolved as a matter of urgency with preparation of 8D reports.Ensure customer satisfaction through customer surveys.When needed, deal with external parties to conduct customer satisfaction surveys forJob Specifications:Minimum of 7 to 9 years in the same fieldBachelor’s in science/ Engineering, Masters in Business (or equivalent)Certificate Internal Auditor for ISO 9001Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001
