The hospital provides specialized rehabilitation services, advanced long-term mechanical ventilation, renal dialysis, and mental health services, with patient well-being at the center of every decision.Madeeda Hospitals is committed to maintaining high standards of quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance through a multidisciplinary and patient-centered approach.Role DescriptionMadeeda Hospitals is seeking an experienced Quality Specialist to support and strengthen the hospital’s Quality Management and Accreditation programs.The role is primarily focused on hospital accreditation readiness, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement, while also supporting patient safety, incident management, KPI monitoring, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.The successful candidate will work closely with department leaders to ensure sustained compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements and to drive measurable improvements in quality and patient safety.Key ResponsibilitiesAccreditation & Compliance – Primary FocusSupport the planning, implementation, and continuous readiness of hospital accreditation programs.Coordinate and follow up on accreditation requirements, standards, action plans, and evidence.Conduct accreditation readiness assessments, tracer activities, and internal compliance audits.Monitor departmental compliance with accreditation standards and identify gaps requiring improvement.Follow up on corrective action plans and ensure timely closure of accreditation findings.Quality & Patient SafetySupport the hospital’s Incident Reporting and Management process, including trend analysis, investigation, RCA, and follow-up of corrective actions.Monitor and analyze KPIs and quality indicators, identify performance gaps, and support departments in developing improvement actions.Support quality and patient safety education and awareness activities.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Quality Management, or a related healthcare field.Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in hospital/healthcare quality management.Proven hands-on experience in hospital accreditation and accreditation survey preparation is mandatory.Demonstrated experience in implementing accreditation standards, conducting readiness assessments, closing compliance gaps, and preparing for external accreditation surveys.Experience with recognized healthcare accreditation standards such as CBAHI, CARF, or equivalent is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of healthcare quality and patient safety principles.Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality/accreditation management systems.Professional CertificationsProfessional certification in Healthcare Quality, Patient Safety, or AccreditationOther relevant quality/accreditation certifications
