Immediate JoinersWe are looking for an experienced Quality Lead to take ownership of the overall quality strategy, governance, testing framework and release readiness for a large-scale enterprise application ecosystem.The solution is built on the Mendix low-code platform, hosted on Microsoft Azure, and integrates with 10+ enterprise systems through APIs and integration services.This is a quality leadership and governance role, focused on building quality into the delivery lifecycle — not simply executing test cases.What You'll OwnQuality Strategy & GovernanceDefine and implement the overall QA and Quality Management strategy for the programme.Establish quality standards, processes, methodologies, KPIs and governance frameworks.Define quality objectives across the complete SDLC/STLC.Establish Definition of Done, quality gates, entry/exit criteria and release acceptance criteria.Ensure quality is embedded throughout the development and delivery lifecycle.Test Strategy & PlanningDefine the overall testing strategy covering:Functional TestingIntegration TestingSystem TestingRegression TestingEnd-to-End TestingUAT SupportAPI TestingData ValidationPerformance TestingSecurity Testing CoordinationReliability and Scalability TestingReview and approve test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test evidence.Ensure adequate test coverage across Mendix applications and integrated enterprise systems.Ensure appropriate test environments and test data are available and ready.Enterprise Integration & E2E QualityDrive quality across complex integrations involving 10+ systems.Establish testing approaches for APIs, data flows, integrations, business rules and cross-system workflows.Ensure end-to-end business processes are validated across the complete application ecosystem.Coordinate with Integration Engineers, Developers, Solution Architects and external system teams to resolve integration-related quality risks.Support data validation, reconciliation and database testing where required.Release & Quality GatesEstablish and manage quality gates for SIT, UAT and Production releases.Monitor testing progress, defects, risks and release readiness.Provide quality-based Go / No-Go recommendations for releases.Review production readiness and ensure critical quality risks are addressed before deployment.Coordinate closely with DevOps and Release Management teams.Defect & Risk ManagementOwn the overall defect management process.Define defect severity, priority and escalation mechanisms.Lead defect triage and resolution tracking.Monitor defect aging, recurring defects and escaped/production defects.Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical defects.Establish corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) where required.Identify quality risks early and establish appropriate mitigation plans.Quality Metrics & ReportingDefine and track QA KPIs and quality metrics, including:Test CoverageTest Execution ProgressPass / Fail RateDefect DensityDefect LeakageDefect AgingEscaped DefectsRegression EffectivenessAutomation CoverageRelease ReadinessCreate quality dashboards and provide regular quality status reports to Project / Programme Leadership.Highlight quality risks, trends, dependencies and improvement opportunities.Automation & Continuous ImprovementDefine and drive the test automation strategy in collaboration with QA Engineers.Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage and regression efficiency.Promote integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.Continuously improve QA processes, tools, methodologies and engineering practices.Establish lessons-learned and continuous-improvement initiatives across delivery teams.Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementLead and mentor QA Engineers and testing teams.Coordinate with:Business AnalystsDevelopersQA EngineersIntegration EngineersDevOps EngineersSolution ArchitectsProduct OwnersBusiness / UAT TeamsProject & Programme LeadershipDrive cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality objectives are achieved.Communicate quality status, risks and release readiness clearly to technical and business stakeholders.Required Experience7+ years of experience in Software QA / Quality Engineering.Proven experience leading QA activities for enterprise-scale applications or programmes.Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum and software quality processes.Strong experience in developing QA strategies, test plans and quality governance frameworks.Strong experience in integration and end-to-end testing.Experience working with applications integrating with multiple enterprise systems.Strong understanding of API, data and integration testing.Experience defining quality gates, entry/exit criteria and release acceptance criteria.Strong defect management, defect triage and Root Cause Analysis experience.Experience managing QA metrics, dashboards and quality reporting.Experience working with Agile delivery teams and cross-functional stakeholders.Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.Experience driving continuous improvement and quality engineering practices.Good to HaveExperience with Mendix or other low-code platforms.Experience with Microsoft Azure / Azure DevOps.Experience with enterprise integration architecture.Experience with API automation and test automation frameworks.Experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman/Newman, REST Assured or equivalent.Strong SQL/database testing experience.Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.Experience with performance/load testing.Experience with security testing coordination.Experience with test management and defect management tools.Experience establishing QA dashboards and enterprise quality metrics.Experience working in large-scale transformation or digital programmes.Important DistinctionThis is not simply a Senior Tester role.The Quality Lead owns the quality framework, standards, governance, testing strategy, quality risks, KPIs and release quality across the programme.The QA team will execute testing activities, while the Quality Lead will ensure that the right quality processes, controls, coverage and governance are in place across the entire delivery lifecycle.The ideal candidate should have experience building quality into complex
