This entry-level position is designed for an individual passionate about enhancing patient care and safety within a healthcare environment. The successful candidate will participate in a comprehensive training program, gaining in-depth knowledge of our clinical quality standards, patient safety protocols, and healthcare management systems. This role offers invaluable hands-on experience in a compassionate and dynamic setting, allowing you to directly contribute to our commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.Responsibilities:Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical quality and patient safety programs.Rotate through various clinical and administrative departments to understand the patient care journey and its impact on quality.Shadow senior clinical leaders and quality management professionals to learn about healthcare compliance, risk management, and decision-making processes.Participate in clinical audits, chart reviews, and data collection to ensure services meet established standards of care and regulatory requirements.Document and report on quality and safety events, and assist in conducting root cause analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff, to support continuous improvement projects.Support efforts to maintain compliance with healthcare accreditation standards (e.g., The Joint Commission, CARF) and other relevant regulations.Help gather and analyze patient satisfaction and outcome data to identify trends and inform quality initiatives.Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop skills in healthcare quality, patient safety, and leadership.Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Nursing, Public Health, a clinical field (e.g., Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy), or a related discipline.
