With a wide range of manufacturing capabilities under one roof, the organization is committed to delivering high-quality products and maintaining strong customer relationships.We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee the plant’s quality program and help drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing operation.Position OverviewThe Quality Manager will be responsible for the daily management of all aspects of the plant’s quality program, including customer and supplier quality, internal quality systems, audits, testing, corrective actions, and quality performance improvement.As a member of the plant management team, this individual will also contribute to overall plant operations, with a particular focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day administration of the plant’s quality program.Interpret customer specifications and translate requirements into manufacturing standards.Establish inspection, testing, and customer-specific quality methodologies.Manage customer complaints and track corrective actions through resolution.Work with suppliers to establish and maintain quality requirements.Develop and maintain QMS procedures, work instructions, and forms.Perform and document in-process quality checks and testing.Conduct incoming inspection and testing of raw materials.Track and report monthly quality metrics, including customer, internal, and vendor issues.Maintain working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.Support FSC/SFI compliance and related requirements.Lead continuous improvement initiatives and employee training related to the QMS.Lead monthly internal quality audits and third-party QMS/facility audits.Investigate and respond to customer and internal quality issues.Work with vendors to address material-related quality concerns.Lead the plant’s 5S program.Participate in safety team activities.Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the facility.Ensure compliance with established safety, quality, GMP, and company policies and procedures.QualificationsQuality Management or Quality Supervisory experience within a printing or packaging manufacturing environment.Demonstrated leadership experience.Working knowledge of ISO 9001.Working knowledge of FSC/SFI standards.Strong understanding of manufacturing quality processes, inspections, testing, and corrective actions.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive, customer-focused approach.Strong collaboration skills and the ability to contribute to overall plant objectives.Compensation & Benefits$85,000 – $125,000 salary, depending on experience and qualificationsEligible for bonus after 1 full yearFull-time, salaried/exempt positionOpportunity to join an established manufacturing organization and take ownership of the plant’s quality function
