Responsibilities

Be responsible for managing, coordinating, and supervising all Quality Engineers across multiple solar PV construction sites, ensuring effective implementation of quality assurance and quality control activities in compliance with contractual obligations, applicable standards, project specifications, and internal company procedures.Oversee quality inspections and ensure the preparation and review of daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and documentation for internal use and client requirements, in accordance with project requirements.Coordinate and monitor quality testing and inspection activities across all projects according to approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring proper coordination of joint inspections with client representatives.Liaise with Project Managers, construction teams, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and suppliers on quality-related matters, including the coordination and follow-up of internal and external quality audits.Ensure that Construction Phase Quality Plans are implemented, maintained, and updated throughout all projects, and that Quality Engineers consistently apply the required quality procedures and maintain appropriate site quality documentation.Oversee and coordinate the quality of all construction works and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle, including civil works, mounting structure installation, photovoltaic module installation, DC and AC electrical installations, cable routing, inverter installation, transformer stations, medium-voltage systems, testing, punch list management, Requests for Inspection (RFIs), commissioning, and final handover.Ensure that all project quality documentation and records are properly reviewed, structured, maintained, and communicated to the relevant parties, including the preparation and completion of quality dossiers for final handover to the client.Monitor quality performance across multiple solar PV projects, identify non-conformities and recurring issues, coordinate root cause analyses and corrective and preventive actions, and ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, technical specifications, contractual requirements, and internal procedures.Prepare and review periodic quality reports, monitor quality performance indicators, identify quality-related risks and improvement opportunities.Coordinate and support the professional development of Quality Engineers, ensuring consistent application of quality standards, inspection procedures, and best practices across all construction sites.Ensure that quality requirements are properly addressed during testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final handover activities, in coordination with the construction, electrical, commissioning, and project management teams.Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the Site Waste Management Plan across projects, in coordination with the relevant site teams and responsible departments.Promote continuous improvement and a proactive quality culture across all solar PV construction sites, ensuring consistent quality performance and effective collaboration between project teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field. A Master’s degree is a plus.Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the construction industry, including quality assurance and quality control activities.Previous experience in a Quality Manager or similar supervisory role within utility-scale solar PV projects or other renewable energy construction projects is highly desirable.Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other related quality standards, management systems, inspection procedures, and quality documentation requirements.Experience in quality audits, inspection and testing activities, non-conformity management, and corrective and preventive actions.Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage priorities across multiple projects.Experience working with international clients, engineering consultants, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers.Good knowledge of English.
