Quality Technician

Al Watania For Industries is Hiring: Quality TechnicianWe are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role covers Plastic, CAN Making (Steel & Metal), and Paper products.Key responsibilities:Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished products against specificationsPerform tests and measurements using calibrated instruments and gaugesRecord inspection results accurately and report deviations immediatelyIdentify non-conforming products, support root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective actionsApprove first-piece and line startups after setups and changeoversSupport quality audits and maintain quality documentationFollow safety procedures and housekeeping standards at all times

Requirements

1 to 3 years of hands-on experience as a quality technician or inspector in Plastic, CAN Making (Steel & Metal), or Paper manufacturing (mandatory)Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or a related fieldAbility to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and thickness gaugesAbility to read basic technical drawings and product specificationsGood record keeping and attention to detailWillingness to work shiftsPreferred:Knowledge of ISO 9001 or food-contact quality standardsExperience with quality checks on production lines during changeovers
