By offering a differentiated source of performance, Fucius Capital aims to complement broader portfolios and provide a specialized alternative to traditional investment approaches.Role Description The Quantitative Analyst will work on-site in Dublin in a full-time capacity, contributing to the development and enhancement of systematic investment strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing quantitative models, conducting statistical and mathematical analyses, and performing market risk assessments across asset classes. The role involves backtesting strategies, validating model performance, and collaborating with portfolio managers to integrate analytics into the investment process. The analyst will also prepare clear documentation, support ongoing research initiatives, and help improve internal tools and data pipelines used for quantitative decision-making.Qualifications Strong foundation in Statistics and Mathematics, with the ability to apply quantitative methods to financial markets.Proficiency in Quantitative Analytics, including model development, backtesting, and performance evaluation.Experience with Market Risk concepts, including risk measurement, scenario analysis, and stress testing.Excellent Analytical Skills, with the capacity to interpret complex data and present insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Relevant programming skills (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) and familiarity with data analysis libraries and tools.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.Knowledge of systematic or algorithmic trading strategies and portfolio optimization techniques is advantageous.Ability to work collaboratively in a research-driven environment, with strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to documentation.
