Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Description The Quantitative Analyst | Quantitative Research Analyst role is a part-time remote position focused on applying data-driven methods to support decision-making across Slackroid’s diverse business lines. In this role, the analyst will collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers for e-commerce, fashion, and digital products. Typical responsibilities include building quantitative models, performing statistical analyses, and developing dashboards or reports that inform product strategy, pricing, and risk assessment. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical frameworks, validate hypotheses through rigorous testing, and present clear, actionable insights. This role also involves continual refinement of methodologies, documentation of assumptions, and adherence to best practices in data integrity and confidentiality.QualificationsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify key insights, and support evidence-based decisions.Proficiency in quantitative research methods, including experimental design, hypothesis testing, and data-driven problem solving.Experience or coursework in quantitative finance, particularly in areas such as risk modeling, portfolio analysis, or financial forecasting.Solid foundation in statistics, including probability, regression analysis, and statistical inference, using relevant tools and software.Hands-on experience with quantitative analytics, such as building models, constructing performance metrics, and developing reports or dashboards.Familiarity with analytical tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Excel) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate in a remote, cross-functional environment.Self-directed work style, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical data handling and continuous learning.
