Quantitative Investment AnalystBoston, MAWe are looking for an experienced quantitative investment professional to join a Boston-based portfolio management team. This position will focus on using quantitative techniques, investment data, and technology to support the management of customized investment portfolios.The role offers significant exposure to portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment research, and the technology used to manage portfolios at scale.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and evaluate customized investment portfolios across multiple asset classesApply quantitative techniques to portfolio construction, allocation, and rebalancing decisionsWork alongside investment professionals to analyze portfolio positioning, performance, and riskPerform research and analysis designed to enhance investment strategies and portfolio outcomesUse portfolio analytics and optimization tools to evaluate potential investment changesDevelop scalable processes for managing and monitoring a large number of portfoliosPartner with technology teams on enhancements to investment and portfolio management platformsProduce portfolio analysis for institutional and advisory clientsSupport the implementation and transition of new client portfoliosQualifications5+ years of experience in investment management, quantitative investing, portfolio analytics, or a related areaStrong background in portfolio construction, asset allocation, optimization, or systematic investment strategiesAdvanced programming skills using Python and/or RExperience working with SQL and GitStrong understanding of investment markets and portfolio management conceptsGraduate degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline preferredExperience using modern AI development and research tools is a plusCFA or other relevant investment credentials are preferred but not requiredStrong analytical and communication skills with the ability to explain quantitative concepts clearlyCompensationBase compensation is expected to range from $150,000 to $200,000 depending on experience and level, with additional cash compensation and equity.This is a Boston-based position with an expectation of being in the office five days per week.Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
