A highly research-driven investment firm is expanding its U.S. equities team and looking for a Senior Quantitative Equity Researcher to develop new alpha-generating ideas.What you’ll do:Research inefficiencies across U.S. equitiesDevelop and test new alpha signals and investment ideasAnalyze fundamental, market, and alternative dataBuild and enhance quantitative modelsTranslate research into actionable ideas for the trading teamWork closely with researchers, traders, and technologyWhat they’re looking for:PhD in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field3+ years of empirical equity research experienceStrong understanding of asset pricing and equity marketsStrong Python skills and experience working with large datasetsDemonstrated ability to generate original research and investment ideasStrong statistical and quantitative skillsThis is a highly collaborative, alpha-driven environment where research has a direct path from idea generation to implementation and ultimately the trading desk.
