Quantity Surveyor

🏗️ QS / ESTIMATOR | INTERIOR FIT-OUT | DUBAII’m currently supporting a residential fit-out contractor in Dubai who are looking to appoint an experienced QS / Estimator to join their commercial team.💰 Salary: up to AED 20,000 per monthThe RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in interior fit-out and will be responsible for both pre- and post-contract commercial activities, from tender pricing and estimating through to variations, valuations and final accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate tenders, BOQs and detailed cost estimatesCarry out quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurementsAnalyse drawings, specifications and project requirementsObtain, review and compare supplier and subcontractor quotationsPrepare detailed pricing and tender submissionsMonitor project costs and commercial performanceManage variations, claims and additional worksPrepare interim payment applicationsManage subcontractor valuations and paymentsAssist with final accounts and project close-outMaintain accurate cost reports and commercial documentationLiaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractorsProvide commercial input throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

5–10 years’ experience as a QS or Estimator within Dubai fit-out/constructionStrong interior/residential fit-out experienceProven experience in tender pricing and estimatingStrong knowledge of BOQs and quantity take-offsGood understanding of UAE material and labour ratesExperience managing variations, claims and final accountsExperience with interim payment applications and subcontractor valuationsStrong commercial and negotiation skillsExcellent communication skills with clients, consultants and subcontractors
