Quantity Surveyor (QS)

We are looking for a precise and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage commercial, contractual, and quantity estimation functions across large-scale Infrastructure and Mass Earthworks projects.The candidate will be responsible for earthwork quantity takeoff (cut and fill), interim payment certificates, variation orders, sub-contractor billings, and maintaining strict cost control throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for mass earthworks, excavation, backfilling, grading, and infrastructure utilities using Civil 3D and BOQs.Prepare, verify, and process monthly Interim Payment Applications (IPAs) for clients and sub-contractors.Evaluate, negotiate, and process variation orders, scope changes, and commercial claims.Conduct cost analysis, monitor project cash flow, and assist in maintaining the project budget.Reconcile site executed quantities against contractual drawings, survey data, and sub-contract agreements.Qualifications & Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.Professional Accreditation: Registered with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is preferred.Required Skills & Certifications:Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, CostX, and advanced MS Excel.Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts and local standard construction contracts.Experience: Minimum 4–6+ years of quantity surveying experience in major civil infrastructure, mass earthworks, and site development projects.Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and expertise in soil volume calculation verification.
