Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Logistics Department

Project: Omairah – ADNOC Offshore Project Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Department: Logistics Experience: Minimum 3 years of UAE experience, including ADNOC Offshore civil construction projects Industry: Civil Construction / MEP / Offshore Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Logistics Department to join our Omairah – ADNOC Offshore Project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant UAE experience, with previous experience on ADNOC civil construction projects only. Candidates must have a strong understanding of quantity surveying, project cost control, measurement, and documentation related to civil construction and MEP works. Experience working on ADNOC Offshore projects is mandatory. Candidates without previous ADNOC civil construction project experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review quantity take-offs, bills of quantities (BOQs), and material quantity estimates for civil construction and MEP works. Monitor and track material quantities, deliveries, consumption, and project requirements in coordination with the logistics and construction teams. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, engineering, and site teams to ensure materials are available according to project schedules. Review purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and material documentation against approved quantities and project requirements. Maintain accurate records of material movements, stock levels, and project-related quantity documentation. Assist in cost control, budget monitoring, quantity reconciliation, and preparation of periodic reports. Verify subcontractor measurements, progress claims, and supporting documents, where applicable. Identify quantity discrepancies, material shortages, and potential wastage, and coordinate corrective actions with the relevant departments. Prepare regular reports on material requirements, deliveries, usage, and outstanding quantities. Ensure compliance with applicable project procedures, contractual requirements, and ADNOC project documentation standards. Coordinate with project stakeholders to support timely material planning and efficient execution of civil construction and MEP activities. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the UAE. Mandatory: Previous experience on ADNOC civil construction projects, preferably ADNOC Offshore projects. Practical experience in quantity surveying for civil construction and MEP works. Experience coordinating material quantities, deliveries, and documentation with logistics, procurement, and site teams. Knowledge of BOQs, quantity take-offs, material reconciliation, cost control, and progress measurement. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant quantity surveying or project management software. Strong documentation, coordination, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work in a project-based environment and meet deadlines.
