Software Engineer - Compiler InfrastructureAbout the RoleThis opportunity is rare in which you will be shaping core infrastructure at a venture-backed quantum computing company at a pivotal moment for the industry, where the software stack you build directly determines what's possible on real quantum hardware.Quantum computing is moving fast and the compilers, intermediate representations, and language tooling underneath it need engineers who can build from first principles. We're looking for a Software Engineer who lives at the low level: someone who's genuinely excited by compiler internals, LLVM, and the craft of building a language from nothing but an idea.What You'll Do:Get hands-on with the low-level aspects of programming languages and compiler infrastructure, you'll be building itConstruct real portions of a classical compiler stack from the ground upWork directly with LLVM to shape how code gets compiled and optimizedOwn intermediate representation design and low-level compiler featuresDesign and build a domain-specific language from scratch, front to back, including the backend that brings it to lifeWhat We're Looking For:Deep, hands-on experience with low-level programming language concepts and compiler infrastructureA track record of building parts of a classical compiler stack, not just studying oneReal experience with LLVM and intermediate representationsYou've built a domain-specific language from scratch, backend included, and you can talk through the decisions you madeAn open-source portfolio that shows your work, not just tells us about itFamiliarity with quantum SDKs like Qiskit and PennyLaneA solid grasp of what a quantum program actually does you don't need to be a quantum physicist, but you should understand the fundamentalsIf this sounds like you then reach out today!
