The company actively recruits global talent across quantum physics, engineering, and algorithm research disciplines.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantum Researcher role based in Hong Kong SAR. The Quantum Researcher will design, model, and analyze neutral-atom quantum systems, including qubit initialization, manipulation, and readout protocols. The role involves developing and validating quantum algorithms and error correction schemes, collaborating closely with hardware and control engineering teams to optimize coherence and gate fidelity. The Quantum Researcher will conduct experiments, analyze data, publish results in peer-reviewed venues, and present findings at internal reviews and external conferences. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior team members, contributing to collaborative projects with global research partners, and staying current with developments in quantum information science.Qualifications Strong foundation in quantum physics and quantum information theory, including expertise in neutral-atom systems, quantum optics, and atomic physics.Experience with experimental quantum hardware such as lasers, optical tweezers, vacuum systems, and precision measurement instrumentation.Proficiency in scientific programming and data analysis using tools such as Python, MATLAB, or similar languages, and familiarity with numerical simulation of quantum systems.Background in quantum control, error correction, or quantum algorithms, with the ability to design and evaluate protocols for fault-tolerant computation.Doctoral degree (PhD) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field, or equivalent research experience in quantum technologies.Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications or significant research contributions in quantum computing or quantum science.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and mentor less-experienced researchers.Ability to work on-site in Hong Kong SAR; prior international or cross-cultural research experience is a plus.
