& Production Manager to lead our cosmetics product development, formulation, production planning, and factory operations.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in cosmetic formulation development, especially in skincare and haircare products, with additional experience in color cosmetics considered an advantage.This role requires someone who can develop stable, high-quality, scalable formulations, manage production execution, support private label projects, maintain GMP discipline, and ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and cosmetic manufacturing requirements.We are looking for a proactive, fast, detail-oriented professional who can take ownership of R&D, production, compliance, documentation, and factory workflow.Roles & ResponsibilitiesR&D and Product DevelopmentDevelop new formulations for skincare, haircare, bodycare, and personal care products.Create stable, safe, high-quality, and production-ready cosmetic formulations.Develop standard base formulations for different product categories.Customize formulations based on private label customer requirements.Conduct reverse engineering of benchmark and competitor products.Improve existing formulations for stability, texture, performance, cost, and market suitability.Conduct lab trials, pilot batches, and scale-up batches.Ensure every developed product undergoes required stability testing, compatibility testing, and performance evaluation.Maintain proper formulation records, trial records, version control, and product development documentation.Production ManagementOversee day-to-day cosmetics production activities.Prepare and manage production planning based on orders, raw material availability, and business priorities.Ensure batch manufacturing is carried out according to approved formulas, SOPs, and quality standards.Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, QC, and management for smooth production flow.Monitor production output, batch quality, process efficiency, and manpower utilization.Identify production delays, wastage, process gaps, and take corrective actions.Ensure production is completed on time without compromising product quality.BOM, Costing and Scale-UpPrepare and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for each product.Convert lab formulations into production-scale batches.Support batch size calculations, raw material requirements, and production costing.Work with accounts/procurement teams to optimize formulation cost without affecting quality.Monitor actual consumption versus BOM and investigate abnormal wastage or variation.Compliance, GMP and DocumentationEnsure factory operations comply with GMP standards and cosmetics manufacturing best practices.Maintain documentation required for audits, inspections, and regulatory purposes.Support Dubai Municipality / Montaji product registration and related regulatory requirements.Prepare and maintain necessary technical documents such as formulation sheets, ingredient lists, COA/MSDS coordination, batch records, and stability records.Ensure factory hygiene, process control, labeling, storage, and production documentation are maintained properly.Private Label Project ManagementManage R&D and production requirements for private label projects.Understand customer requirements and convert them into practical product development briefs.Coordinate with sales, design, procurement, production, and management to execute projects on time.Ensure samples, approvals, production, and documentation are completed according to project deadlines.Support fast execution of multiple private label projects simultaneously.Own Brand / NPD DevelopmentDevelop new products for the company’s own brands based on market trends, sales input, marketing direction, and management strategy.Support fast launch of multiple products across different cosmetic categories.Research trending ingredients, textures, claims, packaging formats, and competitive products.Recommend new product ideas and improvements for existing products.Team and Factory DisciplineLead and guide the R&D and production team.Create proper workflow, SOPs, checklists, and accountability systems.Monitor staff performance, discipline, cleanliness, and work efficiency.Identify weak operational areas and recommend practical solutions.Build a culture of speed, responsibility, quality, and ownership within the factory.Desired Candidate Profile2–6 years of experience in cosmetics R&D and production.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.Strong hands-on experience in skincare and haircare formulation.Experience in color cosmetics will be an added advantage.Must be able to develop stable, scalable, high-quality formulations.Strong knowledge of raw materials, active ingredients, emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, fragrances, colors, and cosmetic formulation principles.Experience in stability testing, compatibility testing, scale-up, and production troubleshooting.Knowledge of GMP, Dubai Municipality / Montaji requirements, and cosmetic product documentation.Experience in BOM preparation, production planning, batch records, and production coordination.Ability to manage R&D, production, compliance, and private label projects together.Must be proactive, fast, organized, detail-oriented, and solution-driven.Should be comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced cosmetics manufacturing environment.Must be able to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.Not Suitable ForCandidates with only lab theory and no practical formulation experience.Candidates who have never worked in cosmetics manufacturing.Candidates who are not comfortable handling both R&D and
