R&D Formulation Manager

VIANEX S.A., the leading Greek pharmaceutical company, is looking to hire an R&D Formulation Manager for its state-of-the-art R&D Center, based in Patras.About The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing formulation development activities for generic pharmaceutical products across different dosage forms, from laboratory-scale development through scale-up and technology transfer.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee formulation development activities for generic pharmaceutical products across different dosage formsDesign and develop robust formulations based on QTPP, CQAs, target product characteristics and regulatory requirementsPlan, coordinate and supervise formulation development trials from laboratory scale through scale-up and technology transferLead formulation optimization activities and support the optimization of manufacturing process parametersCoordinate the preparation, review and maintenance of formulation development protocols, reports and recordsEnsure that formulation development activities are conducted in accordance with applicable GMP requirements, ICH guidelines, pharmacopoeial requirements and internal proceduresContribute to the continuous improvement of formulation development approaches, processes and laboratory practicesCoordinate multiple formulation development projects, ensuring alignment with established timelines and development objectivesCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the pharmaceutical development processQualifications & ExperienceBSc or MSc Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline5-7 years of relevant professional experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, with proven experience in a similar positionProven experience in the development of generic pharmaceutical products and formulation optimizationExperience with different pharmaceutical dosage forms, including immediate-release, modified-release, oral solutions and ODTsProven experience in scale-up, process optimization and technology transfer from laboratory to manufacturing scaleDemonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate multiple development projects within defined timelinesExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsGood written and verbal communication skills in EnglishBenefitsExcellent working environmentCompetitive remuneration packageOpportunities for professional development
