Due to business expansion in Singapore, they are looking to bring in a R&D Lead Engineer, Power Electronics.ResponsibilitiesLead investigation, development, and integration of new technology/design solutionsCoordinate internally and with external partners/suppliers to assess technical and financial feasibilityPresent data-driven findings (value, trade-offs, costs, risks, effort) to stakeholdersWork with Global Product Marketing and Engineering to validate feasibility of proposalsProgress and validate solutions with cross-functional teams toward product readinessSupport engineering teams during integration into product designsBuild organizational knowledge/capability in technology designRequirementsMaster's or Bachelor's in Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering (or related)10+ years of relevant experience with a track record of delivering products to marketStrong hands-on experience in Power Electronics: circuit design/analysis/simulation, PCB implementationFamiliarity with power semiconductors (MOSFET, BJT, Op-Amps, drivers, fuses, diodes)Simulation tools: LTSpice, SPICE, MATLAB/SimulinkThermal management for high-current electronicsSchematic/PCB tools: Altium, Mentor Graphics (or equivalent)EMC/EMI compliance experienceRequired domain experience in at least one of: Battery Management Systems (BMS), or Motor Drive Systems (BLDC/PMDC/AC)If an opportunity interests you, please share your CV with us for a confidential discussion on this role.
