As part of HSA Group, Pacific Group Indonesia continues to drive sustainable growth through operational excellence, innovation, and a strong commitment to quality.Job Requirement :Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Food Science & Technology.At least 5 years of working experience in a related field.Have a strong understanding of product fractionation, refinery, and hydrogenation processes.Experience in developing shortening, margarine, and special fat products (CBR, CBS, CBE, and CBT).Demonstrated understanding of research and product formulation management, application testing implementation, and customer-specific requirements.Able to manage the R&D department's human resource budget, utilize SAP systems, and implement food safety management system standards.Strong analytical and communication skills.Fluent in English both spoken and written.Work placed on our business unit PT. Pacific Medan Industri (PAMIN) at Kawasan Industri Medan (KIM 2) Mabar.

Key Responsibilities

Organize research and development activities to achieve department objectives.Receive, review and study customer requirements.Coordinate trial and test in accordance with Design & Development activities.Conduct continuous research for product quality improvement.Issue recommendations for new design or design change development.Coordinate with Research and Development Manager on human resource matters including recruitment, training, and performance appraisal.Conduct customer research for finished product application.Appraise subordinate performance on a semester basis.Plan and propose regular training for skill development of subordinates.Submit yearly budget proposal to R&D Manager.
