R&D Technologist

The role: We are looking for a hands-on R&D Technologist to join our team in Chalkida and support the development and scale-up of bakery products in an industrial environment.This is an execution-driven role, ideal for someone who enjoys working close to production, running trials, solving real problems, and turning product concepts into successful industrial products.What you will be doingSupport the full NPD process from concept to commercialization Execute laboratory and industrial trials for new product development Scale up formulations from pilot to industrial production Optimize existing products (taste, texture, cost, shelf-life) Work closely with Production, QA, and Marketing teams Develop nutritional labelling in compliance with EU Regulations Conduct sensory evaluations and product benchmarking Maintain accurate documentation (formulations, trials, specifications) Εvaluation and final approval of raw materials, including specifications review and functionality assessmentWhat we are looking forBachelor’s degree in food technologyMaster’s in food technology or any related field will be appreciatedAt least 2-3 years’ experience in relevant positionGood command of EnglishGood knowledge of Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with data handling and reporting tools will be considered an assetNatural curiosity and creativity around food and product ideas Strong interest in taste, texture and overall consumer experience CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and quality-oriented mindsetAbility to work in cross-functional teamsGood organizational and time management skillsAdaptability in a fast-paced industrial environmentCreative mindset with a genuine interest in cooking or pastry Passion for experimenting with flavors, texture and product concepts.
