This role involves performing radiographic testing and non-destructive examinations on components and assemblies, following established procedures and safety standards. The technician will set up radiographic equipment, position test objects, capture and develop images, and interpret results to identify defects or non-conformities. Daily responsibilities include documenting inspection findings, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with engineering and quality teams, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety and regulatory requirements. The role also includes routine equipment checks, adherence to work instructions for defense and space-related projects, and participation in continuous improvement of inspection methods.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong knowledge and practical experience in Radiologic Technology and Radiology.Candidates should possess expertise in Radiation Safety, including safe handling of radiographic sources and compliance with regulatory guidelines.Candidates should possess familiarity with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) standards or equivalent professional radiography certifications.Candidates should possess an understanding of Medicine-related principles as they apply to radiologic practices and human safety.RT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (NDT) from a recognized body (e.g., ASNT or equivalent) is strongly preferred.Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology, NDT, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline is beneficial.Ability to read technical drawings, follow detailed procedures, and prepare clear inspection reports.Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and ability to work in high-security, high-precision environments.Prior experience in defense, aerospace, or heavy engineering projects is an advantage.
