Through an intelligent, multimodal, team-based approach, Commonwealth Pain & Spine strives to help patients achieve meaningful improvement in their quality of life.Role Description The Radiologic Technologist is a full-time, on-site position based in Ladson, SC. In this role, the technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support pain management and treatment planning, following established protocols and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing patients for imaging, operating radiologic equipment, positioning patients to obtain accurate images, and ensuring proper radiation protection measures. The technologist collaborates closely with physicians and clinical staff, maintains detailed and accurate imaging records, and helps ensure a respectful, comfortable experience for each patient. Additional duties may include equipment quality checks, adherence to regulatory requirements, and participation in ongoing process improvements within the clinic.Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in performing radiologic imaging procedures and operating X-ray or fluoroscopy equipment safely and accurately.Strong patient care skills, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to support patients experiencing chronic pain.Attention to detail in documenting procedures, maintaining imaging records, and following clinical protocols and safety guidelines.Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff in a fast-paced clinical setting.Valid Radiologic Technologist license or registration in the state of South Carolina, and current ARRT certification (or eligibility), as required.Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program; an associate degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred.Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control practices, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.Prior experience in pain management, orthopedics, or outpatient clinic settings is beneficial, but not required.
