A dedicated, patient-centered team guides individuals and families through every step of their healthcare journey, emphasizing trust, compassion, and comprehensive clinical support.Role Description The Radiologist will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services and clinical consultations to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting medical imaging studies (such as X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and nuclear medicine examinations), preparing clear, timely radiology reports, and communicating findings to referring physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary team. The role also involves collaborating on case discussions, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, optimizing imaging procedures for quality and efficiency, and participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position based at Gaelan Hospital in Sharjah, requiring active engagement with clinical teams and patients within the hospital setting.Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine and clinical decision-making, with the ability to integrate imaging findings into overall patient care.Advanced expertise in Radiology and Medical Imaging, including the interpretation of X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies.Competence in Nuclear Medicine for diagnostic imaging and functional studies, with adherence to radiation safety standards.Proficiency in Mammography, including screening and diagnostic breast imaging, with a focus on early detection and patient communication.Recognized medical degree (MD or equivalent) and completed residency training in Radiology; board certification or eligibility in Radiology preferred.Valid medical license to practice (or eligibility to obtain licensure) in the relevant jurisdiction; experience in a hospital setting is an advantage.Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, continual learning, and adherence to clinical quality and safety guidelines.
