The Radiologist will perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other radiologic procedures in accordance with clinical protocols. Responsibilities include preparing imaging reports, communicating findings to referring physicians, and participating in multidisciplinary case discussions to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The role also involves ensuring adherence to safety standards, maintaining equipment quality, guiding technologists on imaging protocols, and contributing to continuous improvement of radiology services. The Radiologist is expected to demonstrate strong clinical judgment, uphold patient-centric care, and support training or mentorship for junior team members where needed.Qualifications Relevant medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.Valid medical license and registration with the appropriate medical council, with eligibility to practice radiology in India.Proficiency in interpreting a broad range of imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and basic interventional procedures.Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to provide clear, concise diagnostic reports aligned with evidence-based practice.Commitment to patient safety, radiation protection standards, and adherence to hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and interacting with patients and families.Comfort with using hospital information systems, PACS, and digital radiology workflows; openness to adopting new technologies.Ability to work on-site in Amritsar with a patient-centric, compassionate approach and a focus on quality and continuous learning.Prior experience in a tertiary care hospital or high-volume radiology department is preferred but not mandatory.
