Join us for a career full of opportunities. Where you can make a difference. Where no two days are the same.Your RoleWe are looking for a highly experienced RAN Planning & Design Architect to design, plan, and optimize radio access networks delivering consistent coverage, capacity, and performance for enterprise and private network operations. You will be working across outdoor and indoor RAN solutions, defining architecture strategies, driving performance excellence, and ensuring every network element is designed and integrated to the highest standards. If you are a seasoned RAN expert with deep expertise in LTE/5G radio planning, RF optimization, and indoor/outdoor network design, and you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of radio network performance, we want to hear from you.In this role you will play a key role in:Owning and leading the end-to-end RAN architecture and radio frequency (RF) planning for both outdoor and indoor environments, defining network topology, frequency strategies, and capacity design frameworks that deliver consistent, high-quality coverage and performance across enterprise and private network deploymentsDefining comprehensive outdoor and indoor site requirements, including coverage design, integration specifications, and interface requirements with core and transport domains, ensuring seamless end-to-end connectivity and full alignment with network architecture objectivesDesigning and implementing capacity planning strategies for LTE and 5G RAN environments, including traffic modelling, spectrum utilisation, and scalability planning, ensuring the network is dimensioned to meet current and future demand with carrier-grade reliabilityOverseeing RAN performance KPIs, optimization strategies, and acceptance testing processes, driving continuous improvement across key radio performance metrics and ensuring every site meets defined performance thresholds before operational handoverLeading RF propagation analysis and optimization activities using industry-leading planning tools, validating coverage predictions against real-world measurements, and implementing targeted optimization strategies to resolve coverage gaps, interference issues, and capacity bottlenecksCollaborating closely with core, transport, and OSS teams to ensure full end-to-end integration of RAN solutions, managing technical interdependencies and driving alignment across all network domains throughout the design and deployment lifecycleSupporting RAN deployment and operational readiness activities, providing hands-on technical leadership during site build, integration, and commissioning phases to ensure every deployment meets design intent and is ready for live network operationActing as the principal technical advisor for RAN planning and design within the program, engaging with customers and key stakeholders at a senior level, presenting architectural recommendations with clarity and confidence, and contributing to the continuous evolution of the RAN design practiceYour ProfileWe are looking for a technically deep and delivery-focused RAN expert who brings extensive radio network experience, strong analytical capabilities, and the leadership presence to drive architecture decisions in complex, high-stakes environments.12+ years of experience in RAN planning, design, and optimization, with a strong and demonstrable background in LTE and 5G radio access network architecture across large-scale enterprise, private network, or public mobile network deployment programsDeep technical expertise in RF planning, propagation modelling, and optimization for both outdoor macro and indoor distributed antenna system (DAS) or small cell environments, with proficiency in industry-standard RF planning tools such as Atoll, Asset, or equivalentComprehensive knowledge of LTE/5G RAN architecture, including thorough understanding of radio protocols, SON features, beamforming, massive MIMO, carrier aggregation, and the end-to-end RAN stack in both standalone and non-standalone 5G configurationsStrong experience in RAN KPI management, performance assurance, and tuning, with the ability to define KPI frameworks, analyse drive test data, identify root causes of performance degradation, and implement effective optimization strategies across multi-vendor environmentsProven ability to define integration requirements between RAN, core, and transport domains, with a solid understanding of network interfaces, signalling flows, and the technical dependencies that underpin end-to-end mobile network performanceDemonstrated experience in acceptance testing and operational readiness processes, with the ability to define test plans, validate network performance against design specifications, and ensure smooth handover to operations teams following deploymentStrong stakeholder management and customer engagement skills, with experience presenting technical solutions and performance analyses at senior level, and the ability to translate complex radio engineering concepts into clear, business-aligned
