Real Estate Developer

JOB PURPOSEThe Development Officer is responsible for supporting the real estate development team in planning, analyzing, and executing real estate projects. This role involves conducting market research, assisting in feasibility studies, coordinating documentation, and facilitating approvals to ensure timely project progress.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject Development SupportAssist in preparing development briefs, concept notes, and project initiation documentsParticipate in site assessments, due diligence, and feasibility studiesCollect and organize project data, market research, and benchmarking informationDocumentation & ReportingSupport the preparation of financial models, business cases, and investment memosMaintain organized records of project approvals, design updates, and key decisionsAssist in preparing regular progress reports and presentation decks for internal stakeholdersCoordination & Follow-UpCoordinate with internal teams (design, finance, legal, construction) and external consultants to gather required inputsTrack development timelines, flag delays, and follow up on deliverablesParticipate in project meetings and document action points and responsibilitiesProcess Improvement & LearningContribute to lessons learned documentation and project close-out reportsStay updated on industry trends, sustainability practices, and regulatory changes impacting real estate developmentQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field Experience:• 0-2 years of experience in real estate development, project coordination, or a related fieldCOMPETENCIES/SKILL SETSStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesBasic understanding of real estate development processesGood communication and report writing skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of project management tools is a plusProactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player
